You will be required to negotiate agreements and manage relationships with relevant stakeholder groups and various external partner agencies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaising with external stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, collect feedback and report back with actions
  • Lead WPD’s programme of social obligations workshops
  • Creating and implementing projects, ensuring initiatives are cost-efficient and in line with stakeholder expectations and the WPD business Plan including establishing mechanisms to record project outcomes and regularly report on delivery
  • Assisting the Stakeholder Engagement Manager in preparing WPD’s annual vulnerability strategy and action plan for Executive sign-off
  • Preparing the written submission for the annual Ofgem Stakeholder Engagement and Consumer Vulnerability Incentive (and equivalent requirement in the next price control period, RIIO-ED2)
  • Liaising with WPD teams and external organisations to maintain and update WPD’s Social Indicator Mapping
  • Producing reports and assisting with other customer/stakeholder initiatives as required

You must be customer focussed, have good interpersonal and strong communication skills especially in written form and have proficient computer skills, including the ability to create reports and presentations as well as presenting findings.  You must also be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
