Job Introduction

Within Western Power, we have a Smart Metering business which is a growing enterprise fitting smart meters, providing a national service to both electricity suppliers and business customers.  An opportunity has arisen to employ further Installers to strengthen our existing field team covering the Liverpool/Manchester areas.

You must be prepared to travel and work away from home when required.

* Dependant on experience the successful candidate may initially be appointed to a salary of £29,016 until all relevant training is completed.

 

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be authorised to install single and three phase Metering installations, provide excellent customer service and work to time, cost and quality targets.

The Ideal Candidate

Required:

  • Good IT skills
  • A clean driving licence 
  • Proven track record in working to time, cost and quality targets
  • Trained, authorised and experienced in single and three phase meter installation 
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service

Advantageous:

  • Experience in Half Hourly, AMR and SMETS metering
  • CT Metering experience

The first six months of employment will be a probationary period and the successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.
