Job Introduction

As an Overhead Operator you will assist Craft teams with the construction, maintenance, replacement and repair of overhead lines up to and including 33kV.  You will ideally have some experience in the electrical field although all necessary training will be be provided.

Candidates are required to have Grade A*-G/1-9 GCSE in English and Maths.

Main Responsibilities

The work involves being away from the depot, normally working in a team of two people. 

You will be required to work at heights on all types of overhead lines.

Please note where job roles within the company involve working at height and the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment, there are restrictions on the maximum weight of the individual.
